Wow, so, as I said previously that these blogs are a terrible waste of time on newgrounds. I felt after being attacked in a blog I should clarify myself. Being a designer and artist for at least 12 years now, being beaten down to a pulp, and growing a backbone of steel being critical is not the same as stunting one's imagination. There are two kinds of artists, ones who pour many hours into a thought, to make it as perfect as possible, and those who throw something together in a minute and hope for success. Call me old fashion but someone who kills themselves for their art is and always will be the most critical person of all. The artist who says "its fine as is" with no reason for that brushstroke, and cant explain why they did what they did, those who cant defend their own art, has... no heart in it. Being critical does not make me less creative, rather saying you did a great job, but there is a noticeable mistake, that you either did not notice, or you put their on purpose and I did not understand. But to throw something together in a minute where quality is terrible, you cant say "oh but its creative" fine if it may be but execution of your idea is BIG DEAL!!! No one takes a terrible idea seriously, and will not sit through it, if it they can not understand it at all.

its sad that you tell people they did a great job, when they clearly didnt. All ideas come from good intensions, and creative thought, but everything gets lost in translation if the idea is not put through clearly.

so next time before you attack me and accuse me of "stunting creativity" think of some of the stuff thats uploaded and why you would discard it before it got passed 30 seconds. Join the rest of the real world, artists are not nice, we never were and never will be. You either fall to criticism or learn to defend your work.

PS if i were not an artist to begin with and decided to be critical, you'd tell me I have no right because I would not know what I was talking about... So you my friend are a hypocrite =)
